Recommended Movies

These are movies that I think everyone should see!

1. Donnie Darko

Donnie Darko is a 2001 American science fiction psychological thriller film directed and written by Richard Kelly and starring Jake Gyllenhaal. It explores the life of  the title character who was saved by a giant, demonic bunny named Frank from a plane engine that fell into his bedroom. Frank then tells him the world will end is 28 day, 6 hours, 42 minutes. This movie is a classic cult that will make your mind go insane with theories while making you laugh hysterically at the same time..  It's one of my favorite movies of all time and I defiantly think everyone should see this movie at least once if not more.

2. Requiem For A Dream

Requiem For A Dream is 2000 american physiological film that follows the lives of  Ellen Burstyn, Jared Leto, Jennifer Connelly, and Marlon Wayans as they fall deeper into their drug and other addictions. This movies is really an eye opener if you really want to see how addiction feels. It doesnt just show you what its like; this movie makes you feel how the characters feel.

3. Perks Of Being A Wallflower

Perks Of Being A Wallflower is one of my favorie movies of all time. This is a heart felt drama that follows troubled young Charlie as he awkwardly transitions into highschool. If you were or are that shy kid in highschool this is the film for you. You can connect so much with these characters; they are very well developed by the writer.

4. Back To The Future Trilogy

I looooove the Back To The Future trilogy. If you don't know what back to the future is about it's about a boy (Marty Mcfly) who's scientist friend (Doc Brown) invents a time machine. Throughout the three movies Marty and Doc are constantly being thrown into the past and back to the future to try and right the original timeline they live in. These movies are so fun and hilarious.

5. Fight Club

Fight Club (1999) is a great movie about an insomniac office worker who crosses paths with a crazy soap maker and they form an underground fight club that evolves into something more. This movie is the definition of mind blowing and come in at number 10 on IMDb's top 250.

6. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) is a great adaptation from a book to a movie. The actors and actresses were perfect and fit the characters very well. Although the book is seen through the eyes of Chief, and the movie is through the eyes of McMurphy the movie is still pretty on point. After having run in with the law McMurphy pleads insanity to avoid going to jail. He is immediately sent to a insane asylum with a crooked head nurse. He try to rallies the patients to take her on.
